Sharing lived experience and building knowledge, capacity, and skills regarding our human rights as mental health service users and persons with psychosocial disabilities.
Advocacy and Awareness
Engaging in advocacy for human rights, recovery-based practices, accountability, justice, and greater participation of service users on the level of mental health services as well as on the level of policy and legislation.
Consultation
We are experts-by-experience who believe that we have the right to be involved in all matters that concern us. We work towards participating actively in the design and improvement of mental health services and policies.
What We Do
Since 2020, we have been engaged in a wide variety of activities as experts-by-experience:
Consultative work for the National Mental Health Program (MoPH) strategies
Delivering capacity-strengthening training to mental health professionals and service users
Organizing and disseminating awareness and advocacy campaigns
Consulting on draft laws and policies
Participating in various local projects
Consultative work for campaigns and projects with local and international organizations in the mental health field;
Membership roles on national and international academic and UN committees
Speaking as experts in panels and events on mental health
Publishing the first statements and press releases in the name of service users in Lebanon
